An "oldie" but goodie...Big Huge Labs. This website is chock full of exciting technology activities. I'm posting about this just to make sure that everyone knows about this extremely cool website. Big Huge Labs allows students to create projects such as magazine covers, posters, jigsaw puzzles, trading cards, mosaics, photo cubes, calendars and cd covers.
Once the project has been completed, you can email the final piece to be pulled up at another time or computer to be printed later. But please note that the files will only be available for less than a week after creation - so print them quickly so you won't have to type them again.
Above is an example of a trading card. These would be perfect for any research presentation. Allow the students to print several copies, cut them out, then trade with friends.
